Process Management and Improvement Training and Workshop was aimed at training and coaching participants to apply DMAIC Lean Six Sigma tools at their processes. In three two-days workshops, step by step, we achieved the following:
- Characterized the process (SIPOC and Process Flow Diagrams), identified requirements of the customers (VOC and VOB), and defined KPIs linked to customers’ needs.
- Analyzed current process performance and identified causes of delays, errors, and losses in the process.
- Proposed countermeasures to eliminate errors, losses and delays and to improve communication within the process. Proposed means to monitor performance of the improved process.
PTP: Purchase To Pay and OTC: Order To Cash processes were selected as pilots. Participants appreciated possibility to immediately apply tools in their processes, as well as the fact that significant improvements were achieved in the period of three months.
Following successful pilot project, we designed and implemented trainings and project coaching at all levels: management team, Yellow Belt, Green Belt a Black Belt. Over 200 participants of trainings applied knowledge in their areas of responsibility through Kaizen and DMAIC projects.
We assisted management team in forming the Continuous Improvement Team including definition of their roles and responsibilities, and cooperation with other parts of organization.
